5.40am, Wan Ee arrived at my house. Yea, we are going to Dataran Merdeka together. My dad's being really nice to offer to fetch us there. xD
Since knowing we won't be able to get a photo there due to the risk of losing my camera if I brought it along, I got Wan Ee to take one before we leave.

Okay, so I shall start ranting on today, the Big Walk day, the first national race Khai Sim had ever joined in her life! The very Day! This might be a looooooong entry though.
Anyway, Wan Ee and I reached Dataran Merdeka and had our time being hyper in the unusual morning mood, with a sprinkle or blurrness and sleepiness mixed in it. Now, even without sugar, I went so hyped that Wan Ee had to put in effort to deal with me. xD
Well, we watched the first category, Men National to set off and cheered like hooligans... okay, sorry, I'm the only one who was doing that, Wan Ee was staring at me ni. Potong la her. I got tired in a while and sat down to wait for Gene Harn and Melissa. Then, I forgot that I had set my handphone to silent mode, so I took it out and... *gasp* 3 missed calls and a message from Gene Harn. Whoopsssss!

Then, I broke the connection since it was too noisy to continue the conversation. But, they found us anyway... I saw plenty of Catholic students there. Wow.
It was really soon when it's our turn to go into the registration side to the starting line. Melissa offered each of us sweets, saying that It's going to be boring walking you know, Nah! Sweets, let you have something else to do. Hahahah! Damn lame la.
Anywayyy, I was really nervous. All of them were chilling me, I met a few old friends among the crowd. Noticed Wei Zhen, she went HAH! Khai Sim! Finally see you in a race! I told her that I wasn't into joining these as I want my beauty sleep. xD Until the last minute, Melissa pulak yang nervous. She was Eh... Let's go in front abit. -___-"""
7.30am, the race begins! We were all brisk walking, Wei Zhen was fast, as predicted. Heard that she was a runner in Sri Aman. Melissa, Gene Harn, Wan Ee and I said to walked together, but I couldn't help feeling competitive. So, I went ahead and lost them, I met this Form 4 Indian girl who couldn't help running, it's like she just can't control herself from running. Funny la. She said I could call her Jaya. We walked together until the route turned into a cross section and I was left behind.
I couldn't believe I was sweating like mad already after 10 minutes of brisk walk, I heard my phone rang, I knew it will be Gene Harn or Wan Ee, nothing to do wan they all. Let them concentrate on their walking la, so I did not answer the call. Walking was quite okay ler, it's my first walkathon. Really an experience.
After twenty minutes of fast walk, I met up with Jaya on the route turning into the woods. She slowed down I guess. I encouraged her to keep up, as I was quite fond of her actually, she's so small sized yet had large steps. Not bad. Only thing is she tend to run whenever she gets tired. *shakes head* I went ahead of her...
Anyway, speaking of cheating. DAMN ALOT of them cheated! They ran. Bloody cheaters. But, nevermind, at least I did the race with honesty. I did not run like so many of them did. CheH! Lousy fellas. You know who you are if you're reading this. I don't care er, you bloody useless no sportmanship idiots!
But, other than the negative sides. We have the good things too! I got to know plenty of new friends there, I met this guy, Yao Ping who is really tall and quite cute. Him, being such a nice person and offered me his water, which of course I did not accept, cause he's a strangerrr. But we had a chat along the way and found out we were actually classmates in Standard 3! Speaking about coincidence...
Sad, I forgot to ask for his contact.
After that, I walked passed an uncle, he pat my shoulder and said Keep it up, girl! I see alot of you all running. Not bad, you win honestly! And I smiled and thanked him.
Continued the race chanting, walk for food! Walk for food! WALK FOR FOOD! I didn't had breakfast you know. Freaking hungryyyy!
Reached the ending point which was covered with mud (Yuck!), I refused to step into the mud which caused 2 other girls overtook me. Haih. But, it's okayyy, I give them chance. xD
So, blablabla. I got 15th. Wheeee~
Yeap, 15th over hundreds of participants. HUNDREDS, reaching a thousand! Wow, my first race is a damn good one. So happyyyy. xD

Got plenty of goodies~~ One thing, I wanna thank Wan Ee, Gene Harn and Melissa for having to spend their time waiting for me to get my medal. I know Gene Harn for one, as a guy, had to suffer cause of his impatience. Kekeke. But, however, he still waited. And, hopefully, something will happen between two of those people who went with me to the Big Walk.
HAahaAHAA! Melissa, give him chance laaaa. xD
Anyway, I met plenty of old friends there. So cool.
