Good times

People are just so surprising.

Some who you thought are your good friends turn their back at you when you really need them. Some whom you aren't even that close with just offer to help when you are down. Bonds are just being created and destroyed so easily.

-----------
This week has been a good week so far.

  • The trip to Genting motivated me to finish my assignment fast, which is good, been less stressful since.
  • Genting trip itself was extremely fun (will blog about it soon, been too lazy).
  • Basketball session with those peeps (Louis, Kat, Alric and Raymond) is enjoyable too.
  • Getting to win the AMBP gathering made the 1 hour used worth it when I'm supposed to be doing assignment that time.
  • Winning the election to be Secretary for DESCO is quite a surprise too, seeing I'm only in the first semester in Year 1 when most of the board nominees are either in Sem 2 or Year 2.
  • Presentation and assignments went well so far. Hope it will continue to be good or better in the future.
  • Am getting along pretty well with my family members these days.
  • Am glad to have encouraging friends, people like Gene Harn and Aaron.
  • Managed to keep up jogging routine. Thanks to Aaron for being there to help me train my stamina, though I still suck, he still damn patient lor. Good friend.
  • Am blessed to have friends who reminds me of things that I should be aware of, faults that I should change. True to the saying that good advises are always ugly to the ears; false compliments are always pleasant to the ears. Oh well.
  • Been experiencing moments when friendships came to a point of a test. Realised I was being abit ignorant in the past towards some people. Sorry la.

Owh well. Been a really good week. Hope to have better days ahead.

Owh kay la. Gotta go. Need to go makan cake with Jack, then go chit chatting with the peeps at the basketball court. Then, PASAR MALAM with Li Foong, Alric and Louis! Wheeeeeeee, FRIED ICE CREAM! YUM YUM!

Can't wait for tomorrow too! Hahaha. Fun fun. And they said we are allowed to bring a guest! Woot! I asked Victor, hope he is free to go. Haha. And was chatting with Alvin just now cause he's bored and he suggest that we have a Primary 6 outing in July when he's back for 2 weeks from Australia. Yayyy! Glee!

It says : Mr Pan*something* and Nosnaj ROX!

Very funny, Janson. Vandalism mannn.

Waited for Alric and Raymond to go Blitzone for a round of L4D. Fun la. Too bad Louis couldn't join us =(

Managed to finish jogging 10 rounds without stopping, that means 4.4km or around there lar. Thanks Aaron! You are the best running coach! xD Okay la, make that volleyball coach as well. Though I don't really favour volleyball. Blargh. Just like you don't really favour basketball anyway.

Good day la today. Am gleeful.

Now I'm bloated

Gah. The main block is so different without those March intake kids d. I miss them alot la. College life is so boring now. Luckily I've got assignments and presentations and tests to focus on lar. And luckily my classes are mostly off now, so I don't really have to stone in college without people to hang out with.

Shrugs.

  1. Academic Skills in Business Assignment.
  2. Management Assignment 1.
  3. Management Assignment 2.
  4. Accounting Assignment.
  5. Marketing Assignment.
  6. Management Presentation (on 29th April).
  7. Marketing Presentation (on 5th May).
  8. IT test.
  9. Management test.
  10. Marketing exam.
  11. Marketing video clip filming (ad).
  12. Student Council campaigning (results on 27th/ 28th).

5 more to go. And Management presentation is tomorrow! Blah.

Know what? I kinda realised that I keep changing the cliques I hang out with. Not my fault la. Those people keep ditching me. Pfft. I don't deserve to be treated like trash and kena ffk so many times okay. Fucking hate people who ffk without informing before hand wan. One thing that really really can piss me off regardless who that person is. And then, last month I keep kena from so many of them. Till I kinda got fed up and didn't bother to cari them anymore.

Then, I have to resort to finding new people to hang out with. Oh well, I still get to enjoy myself with the new company. Though I miss the old ones lar. But if I keep being ditched, then as well save myself from being miserable until they change that habit. Or maybe it's just that month people suddenly got the ffk disease. Whatever lar.

Okay. Hold on a minunte...

DEBRA DEVITA JAMES aka MRS. POTTER IS GREAT!

Haha, there you go Bra.

Gees. I'm fucking full now. I mean, like seriously damn bloated. GAH! At least I satisfied my cravings for Nasi Goreng Tomyam. Though I was tempted to order Nasi Goreng Kampung cuz Louis said it's awesome. But, whatever la. I craved for Nasi Goreng Tomyam anyway.

And to think I was complaining how hungry I was yesterday night cause my mum thought I had dinner already when I actually haven't eat anything at all since 2pm. And that was only a kaya bun for lunch. Some more I was playing from 3.15pm until 7pm (Got alot of breaks in between lar), can you imagine how exhausted and hungry I was? All the energy used ah, then no food to replenish. So kesian okay!

Some more I have to go wash toilets without having dinner. All the scrubing made me even no strength. Then, no food equals to a cranky and mad Khai Sim. I was so annoyed about being hungry that I start disturbing everyone online... okay la, almost everyone. Jun was worried when I went all emo online (Yes, being emo on food! Dumb right?) and called but he so smart just keep laughing all the way at my rantings on the phone. Useless sial. Haih. Gees. He's leaving in June. Pfft. No more late night calls d. LOL! Jun is leaving in June! Get it? Get it?

Okay. Lame.

Anyway, wasn't really keen in washing toilets. Pfft. Luckily I had fun during the daytime. Submitted my assignment. Yayyy! Then sent my 10km race form already. Yayyy! Then go basketball at the BU3 Community Court with Louis, Alric, Katrina and Raymond. Yayyy!

Had good fun. Alric is super funny HAHAHHAA! Had fun laughing at him. Damn entertaining. And Katrina keeps getting hit everywhere. LMAO. She got scared of Alric cause he hit her the most during the games. Hahaha. Funny la those people. Love them max la, brighten my day ni.

I suspect Raymond has secret trainings. No wonder he keeps on asking me to set a date to go basketball with him... now I know the reason lar. Want show off je. Hahaha. But damn pro lor him. Pro pro pro pro pro. Louis was damn amusing also, too strong d, the balls he shot always kena overshot. LOL. Alric's shots even funnier. Haha. Oh my gawd la. I keep smiling now even when I'm blogging this. It's super funny la yesterday's basketball session.

Louis brought his frisbee disc along too. Went to play abit with him. I think he's being nice and encouraging for saying that I have improvements. So impossible. In one day meh? I have been throwing the discs for few weeks with Kevin at Megah court and always kena laughed at for those stupid results of my throws. Quite funny also la, paiseh.

And Louis said I was damn lazy yesterday. Helloooo? That's not damn lazy lar! That's just lazy only. You should ask my Megah friends that I usually play with to know what is DAMN lazy. Hahahaha. But true lar, I cannot keep up with other people's speed, tire me out fast. Shrugs. Raymond so flexible and his agility ISH ISH ISH! Pfft.

Played one last game with some of the strangers there. Had a nice game la that one. Wasn't that on form but still get the ball in thrice la. And managed to steal ball thrice (WHICH IS DAMN RARE! I SUCK IN STEALING. THRICE IN A GAME WITH GUYS? CRAZY WEI!), perhaps they let their guard down cause wasn't expecting me to even know the rules. You know la guys. Bla. Ask any female basketballers, they will understand these situations. Ask Em, Wan Ee, Charis or Xin. OMG! Speaking of those 4, I freaking miss them laaaaaaaa. I miss all those trainings 2,3 years back with them. All the fun moments. The laughters, the tears, the sweat and the blood, literally!

Owh well. Had good fun yesterday. Alric is damn nice to fetch everyone back. But I can't help teasing him. So funny lar. And he so amusing some more. Haha.

Gahhhhh. Still damn bloated. Ish ish ish. And yea, I haven't finish on the Genting trip entry. Too many pictures, upload damn slow la. Soli soli. Will try to complete within this week la. Hahaha.

Owh. And the AMBP's Star trek online contest's deadline is yesterday. Now is to wait for the results. Hope I get the invitation laaaaaa. Sounds damn fun T_T I want I want... Hope me, Wei Siong and Louis get it. Oh, and Louis' Michael friend too. Though i don't really know him, but it's only nice to hope for that too, seeing these are the only people whom i know have entered the contest. And if Wei Siong gets it, I will be able to meet him there! Seeing that I met him in Facebook and never see him in real life yet. Some more he stays around my place mannn! Don't even get to see him before! Just know that he is shorter than me, that's all (AHEM *kekeke*)

Sigh. Hate being broke! Got this trip to Melaka this Thursday and Friday (I think?) with Joe Fendy and whoever who are going. Heard that Shaun and Hsien Loong are too. Not sure. But I won't be going la, sien. No money. Haih. And there's this Redang trip with Jessica Wong Hui Ley and Victoria Yeong on the 8th to 9th of May, YES! Next Friday! Shrugs... NEED CASH! AHHHHHHHHHHHH! Speaking of Jess and Vic, I MISS THEM TOO! Jess! I shall try to go ACTS this coming Sunday la k? I want to go. I miss the fun so much la. But there's always something up (mostly due to me oversleeping -_-")

I think I shall go wait for the bus now and then walk home. Kinda bored stoning in college with nothing to do. Probably reach home around 2.30pm. Then, I shall then upload a few pictures for the Genting entry until like 4 or 5pm (MY CONNECTION IS THAT SLOW!), then go basketball till 7pm with Yen and the rest. Then yum char with Alric and dunno who else... Alric has yet to confirm with me on that also. Lousy organiser.

I had fun today!

Thanks to those who made those moments happened. Those people as in Debra, Angelina, Kat, Jess Min, Louis, Raymond, Kok Peng and Alric. Met CC, Shuan Quah, Hsien Loong and Jon Loke in the themepark too. Owh, and that John (I think?) and Crystal. Haha. Sweet couple =)

Woh-kay. Very exhausted. Shall blog soon after recharging myself and after finishing my Marketing assignment and after everyone uploaded those pictures (including myself) xD

FAT PIG ALERT!

This whole pile of assignments is getting me fatter indirectly. Pfft. Been stuffing myself unconciously. Bah. Some more can't go out for sports, that's why cannot shed those calories off. Blah!

Genting trip on Saturday! Wheeeeee~ Cable car!!!!!!! So excited! xD Yayyyyy. Solero Shot, imma drag Raymond to ride that one with me. Hee hee hee.

Owh. And Victoria, being Victoria, decided to ffk again. As usual. Pfft. Now I have to find someone to ride the rides with, seeing that Alric said Debra they all already gonna sit with each other and since now Alric is going, he will probably steal Louis away. Ahem. I think Alric wants to turn gay cuz of multiple heartbreaks xD I mean, he was like telling me "You girls don't deserve me!"

Uh. True. I deserve someone better! HA! Joke lar. Pfft.

Gahhhhhhh! Handed in Management Assignment 1. Accounting assignment due tomorrow! Marketing assignment due Monday! And I have to finish all assignments by tomorrow so I can go to Genting in peace!!!! Arghhh.

  1. Academic Skills in Business Assignment.
  2. Management Assignment 1.

  8. IT test.
  9. Management test.
  10. Marketing exam.
  11. Marketing video clip filming (ad).
  12. Student Council campaigning (results on 27th/ 28th).

Campaigning was funny. Only me and Sanjeev were doing the campaigning today. Sanjeev was so desperate to catch up the votes that he went around Level 3 waiting for students from the Econs department to stop by and then attack them. If any of them walked away, he actually chase after them. Kak Les was amused, she was saying that he tak tau malu. Hahaahaha. I was just laughing my head off while Sanjeev did all the asking. So farnee laaaaaa.

And he was like saying he is doing all this for me. YA RIGHT! DUMB ASS. Pfft.

I don't know lar, but it seems the candidates aren't that desperate like how we were during the HMC Student Council campaigning week. At least I have been seeing Joseph around. But that's it. The presidents are like... bla. Oh well, who am I to say?

At least my competitor like no news lidat. Blah. Diam diam ubi berisi man. Hope I get the post lar.

OKAY! BACK TO ASSIGNMENT! FINISH UP ACCOUNTING ASSIGNMENT TODAY MAN! AM SKIPPING BASKETBALL AGAIN TODAY! *whines* Argh! NEED TO FINISH BEFORE 10PM!!!!! Then I shall start off on my Marketing report! GOOOO! GOOOOO!

Ps/ Louis! Thanks for the bus tickets (if you did purchase them for me)! You can thank me later for the voucher (lets just hope the vouchers are valid mannn, later you hate me cause of invalid vouchers. I will hate BP if they cannot be used. Ran 11km for what man. Potong stim).

Wheee~ Star Trek

Okay. Title may made you think that I'm one hard core Star Trek trekker. Truth is, I am not. Am guilty if I said I am.

However, having to watched the trailer last week when it was showed during those ads/trailers time before a movie starts (was watching "He's Not That Into You" that time), I was like "Okay, that will be in my to-watch list". Does that make me a 1/10 trekker now?

And yesterday, Louis informed me about this contest to win invitations to a gathering organised by AMBP (All Malaysians Bloggers Project) and the theme for this 3rd gathering of theirs is... Yeap, right guess, STAR TREK! Which means, chance to win free movie passes too! *Glee*

Well, with the assignments piling up on me. I thought of just letting this opportunity pass by and not trying my luck to win the invitation (AGAIN). But, heck! What was I thinking? Missing a chance to watch that movie a week before the international release? Damn. The assignments must have damaged a brain cell or two of mine .

Some more ah, James T. Kirk will be acted by Chris Pine. Yeap, Chris Pine! The guy who acted in Just My Luck as Jake and in The Princess Diaries 2 as Nicholas! WHAAT? No idea who? Pfft. I show you la!

CUTE OR NOT? CUTE OR NOT?

Yes. Very!

And guess what? Not only AMBP is giving out 100 free movie passes, they are basically having plenty of activities on that day itself before the screening! How fun! Me want!

This time round, AMBP is holding this gathering at, of all places, STUDIO V! How cool is that? Some where I never thought of. Pro pro.

And me, being the nice me, shall tell you the details here:

6.00 pm Lucky Draw

6.20pm Prize Presentation: Treasure Trek /Trivia Challenge /Online Contest

6.45pm Usher guests to Cinema Hall

7.00pm Movie Screening (Whee)

Sounds damn awesome, no? It's damn awesome okay! Me want go! Me want go! *rolls on floor*

And if I were to be invited, I shall probably join all of the contests guaaaa (except the auction wan la, too poor d). Haha. Yes, all contests including the Trivia Challege (paiseh, I don't know nuts about everything), but seeing that my assignments will be and supposed to be finished by the 29th of April, I will have 2 days to study about Star Trek and whatever related. Woot to the kiasu spirit!

And wondering why am I sooooo hyped up about wanting to get chosen to be one of the 100 bloggers? This is the reason:

COOLNESS!

Gees, sure hope to be one of those 100 bloggers to receive the invitation to AMBP's 3rd gathering!

Cheers!

Passion

Guess he's right, if you really like basketball, it's impossible to retire from it, not unless you break a leg... but that you still can resort to wheelchair basketball. So it's unless you break an arm. However, that passion can never die.

Had a full court game just now, kinda forgot the rules d. Damn. Need to polish my knowledge on the rules again.

Now, with this good mood of mine, satisfied from all the basketball and food, I shall now finish the Accounting assignment and Management assignment report before midnight! Woot!

Stay

I take back what I said about the Student Council in the previous entry. At least they were fair enough to find a way around this to allow everyone to vote.

Now, if I get it, then I get it. If not, then, maybe next year la.

NEED TO FINISH 3 ASSIGNMENTS BY FRIDAY! Then, I can go Genting in peace! So excited!!! I never ride a cable car before you know?? SO EXCITED! Wheeeeeeeee xD

I wanna ride the swings thingy!! And I want to ride Solero Shot! Yay Yay Yay! So excited! Damn long didn't go Genting already. Hee hee. And I never been to Genting with friends mannnnn. It's always with family. So I have a reason to be excited OK! Shut up. Leave me alone. Whee Whee Whee.

Owh. I'm kinda into Estrella's Stay. Damn nice! Support local band man! Malaysia got quite some talents too man. Am watching Yasmin Ahmad's products just now. So touching wei most of the videos. Pro pro.

Bad Memory and rants

Okay. Sorry, but I'm gonna sound damn bla in this entry.

But, I couldn't help it. I saw this really, really cute guy in the bus when I was on my way to watch my juniors play basketball. He looks damn familiar though, and he kept giving me this weird look like he saw me somewhere before.

Sorry la. I have been to a few basketball courts around PJ and met different ballers but I couldn't remember faces and names. Just like this friend of Jeremy's whom kept greeting me in HELP and I keep giving him this weird look like WTF-I-DON'T-EVEN-KNOW-YOU look. Then until one day he came to Megah court and I was like OMG! YOU PLAY BASKETBALL HERE WAN AH?

Only then he knew for the 929473987235425354 times he greet me in college, I had no idea who he was. Well, he told me his name, and I kinda forgot the next time I saw him again. It was at the mamak in Wisma HELP when he said hi to me and I asked for his name again. Pfft. Don't ask me his name now, cause I forgot again. What a friend I am.

Was on my way to Main Block when I saw this other friend who played basketball with me in college before, same class in Advanced English during Foundation too. Quite the close wan la last time until we all went our own ways in degree. I was racking my brain trying to remember what his name is man, then I got fed up and pushed my way through to reach him. Got his attention and he kinda got damn zhar dou when I asked him for his name -___-" Gees. I need to keep constant touch with people to avoid forgetting names. Shrugs.

Anyway, I digress! So, after catching up and meeting new juniors in the Basketball Club in my old school, I met Yinnie's mum outside of the school. She offered me a ride home, how nice! =)

Anyway, I didn't went straight back, I decided to go to Tmn Sea court behind my house for awhile to check out cause I saw some people with basketballs walking towards that direction. Guess what?? That cute guy is there! Heheheheh!

Apparently I met him before in the SS3 court before. He plays around KL and PJ also, no fixed playing spot. Cool cool, I always wanted to be like that, to play in different courts and to know more people. But I am not good enough to play with other people. And guys normally rather not play with girls, most of them usually would like a proper serious game. I mean, I would like to play a proper game too, would never like to play when they just give me chance cause I'm a girl. Problem is, I'M JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH! SOB! Really want to improve la. Haih. And I kinda gave up this thought of playing in different courts with different people 2 years back, now kinda in the mood again. Bla.

Gees. The weather super hot and I can't imagine how I can tahan this weather 2 years back. Everyday after school sure go to the court around 2pm to play. No wonder I was so dark back then. Now I'm like damn fair, according to KZ. However, Mund said it's good for girls to have fair skin. But, I don't like my natural fair skin, look so unhealthy and not athletic at all. Not like I am anyway. Still...

Anyway, being under the sun for a few hours just now actually made my skin darker. Goodness! The shades ain't balance though. Mari mari, bagi saya lebih tan lagi (Tapi jangan melampau tan la).

Bla. Now I'm being in the paradise of my air-conditioned room, with the fan on to number 3. Woot. Cold cold. But the weather so zhat hot out there. And to think Yen said basketball meeting will be at 4.30pm, which is like 15 minutes ago (Yeap, it's 4.45pm now). CRAZY! UNDER THIS HOT SUN! NO WONDER YOU SO BURNT LA YEN!

Oh ya, today damn gay. Supposedly to have the Student Council voting session on today, and guess what? There's not even a booth there. I'm seriously damn disappointed. After all the last minute information about the venue, now they are opting for this class-to-class system. It's so no point. I mean, Year One don't even have classes on already, so unfair to us! Seriously not considerate at all. Now I'm so fed up, if I get it, I get it. If not, I shall join next year with Marshy. Bullshit man them. And to think all my friends who came purposely just to help vote for me when they don't even have classes in Wisma HELP. Really disappointing la DESCO. Seriously. I really felt damn sorry when I replied all the SMS-es asking me where is the voting spot, knowing they are at Level 3 when they can actually stay at home or in the hostel, rather than going for a not-ongoing voting session. Pfft.

Damn pissed off now. I don't even want to ask that guy in charge. He will probably be lecturing saying it's all my fault, as usual. Spoil my mood only. Yes yes, if you read this, I know it's my fault. Sorry. Yes. I'm wrong. Though I don't know in what way. You will come out with one and start giving me some teaching anyway. Shall listen to it again if you are gonna give it to me. Thanks. Thanks. Sorry. My fault.

Argh. Mahai. Damn pissed la. Chilling chilling. Gonna talk to Kak Les and Ms Anne if I get the chance tomorrow then. They are super nice people, I'm always in a good mood when I talk to them. Just like when I talk to Mr. Alex and Mr. Loh. Nice people. Like them loads =)

OOOOOOO! GENTING THIS SATURDAY WHEE WHEE WHEE! Hope my parents really let -__-"
Gah. WEATHER DAMN KAO HOT! I WANT GO BASKETBALL ALREADY LA WTH! ARGH! ARGH! HANDS GATAL! Oh! I WANT ICE CREAM TOO! DAMN HOT LA! AIYO!

Pfft and assignments OMGGGG!

What's up?

Watched Slumdog Millionaire, thanks to Jun for the DVD =)

Oh, oh. And I watched He's Just Not That Into You already! HEE HEE! With Alric and Chuu Khai. It's quite nice la. Got that happy factor, keeps me smiling during the movie. Haha. As I said before, I'm no good in reviews, go google it yourself. However, I do suggest you to watch this one, it's damn funny at some parts. By the way, Cathay's caramel popcorn is awfully sweet! Got me jelak.

Got these few weeks off, not exactly off la, we actually still have classes, but seeing that we have already finished our syllabus, my lecturers made the classes into workshops for our assignments. Yeap, got plenty of assignments with back-to-back due dates. Pfft. Still, damn free now man with no classes. Kinda got rid of the pressure. Argh. What the hell man Khai Sim, start focusing on those assignments!

Voting for the new Student Council committee for my department is on this coming Monday. Gees. And to think my classmates might not be there to vote, seeing that we don't have classes on Monday in Wisma HELP. Thanks la those people in charge, damn smart. So unfair to us Year 1 Sem 1 candidates.

Hope I get the Secretary position la. But, if I can't get it, then, I guess it's fate. Won't complain la (talk only, sure complain wan if don't get it). Classes start at 10am on Monday, shall go stone at Level 3, Wisma HELP to campaign, talk to peeps and ask them to vote. Gahahahaha. Nice plan. And I think only a few people bothered to do this. My competitors no sound also, takde bunyi, only me putting up posters, so I ain't that worried... yet. Monday see how la man. Gonna go drag people to vote for me, even if they are strangers, whatever la. And how I put my posters up has amused the admin staffs from the department. Haha, I just merely used the old way I did when I hang my posters during HMC Student Council campaign week.

Lalala. Monday voting day. Scaryyyyy. And I know that nobody from the department reads my blog also. So I don't have to promote myself here la. Gees. But if there happened to be any, then, VOTE FOR ME YA! KTHXBYE!

Ooooo. Genting tip next Saturday. Dunno if I should join or not. I'm like the only non-March/May intake HMC peeps who probably is going. Haih. But Raymond and Debra said it doesn't really matter, how nice of Raymond to lecture me on that. But still, I won't know many people who are going. Plus, I have Marketing assignment which is due 2 days after that trip. But Debra said to finished it fast before the trip. Owh, and it's expensive laaaaa. But I got voucher! 30% off all parks ticket! The all park unlimited rides ticket is RM51, after discount, it will be RM35 (CHEAPER THAN AN OUTDOOR PARK TICKET PRICE! It costs RM38 by the way). Hee hee. I got 2 now, promised Louis that I will give him one cause I pity him for the saman.

I secretly think Louis is a girl, he's always so cranky, gees.

Oh. I kinda like stopped writing down 5 good things everyday d hor? Well, dunno la. Today is also like another day without any good things except for being able to eat, being able to sleep, being able to see, being able to breathe, being able to move. Okay, that's 5 things d la. All concludes to being alive anyway, but whatever la.

Ain't that much a good day actually, got scolded early in the morning, dunno she PMS or what la, shrugs. Assignments. Ankle problem. Pain from the growth of wisdom tooth. And Jun just told me that after he finished his pre-u, he's going to Aussie land. Pfft. And he's finishing in June! Gonna leave around early July! Yerrrrrrrrrr. Aussie land robs me, took so many of my friends away. Hmpf.

Sigh. I miss him already =/

It's time to be concern

I'm getting frustrated with the pain I'm experiencing recently la. The right ankle is getting fucking uncomfortable lately ever since I went back into sports. It's so fucking uncomfortable until the point I feel like breaking it off. Argh. Even now it's driving me nuts!

Plus, I think my bottom left wisdom tooth is growing, it hurts so much. Damn killer pain. My gum is even swollen now. It even hurts when I swallow my saliva. A friend told me that the growth of wisdom teeth will actually move the set of teeth we already have. Damn! I tried on my retainers, and damn right! I think my teeth have shifted abit already. Gahhhhhh! Time to put on retainers regularly again.

Shrugs. All the money spent on my teeth better don't go to waste mannn. Owwwww. This wisdom tooth growth is damn painful la. Argh.

Anyway, my hamstrings are getting better, I can kick properly again, hope to be in good form for tomorrow's Taekwondo training. Gees. I forgot that the hamstrings strain was actually an old injury until a junior of mine reminded me of the same pain I went through in Form 5 before Sports Day when I injured my right hamstring and depended too much on the left leg until I overstressed it too. Gah. Lousy old injuries, over then over d la, why the fuck have to come back again?

Shall make a brief research on these...

WISDOM TEETH
(Article extracted from WebMD.)

Wisdom teeth are the third and final set of molars that most people get in their late teens or early twenties. Sometimes these teeth can be a valuable asset to the mouth when healthy and properly aligned, but more often, they are misaligned and require removal.

Wisdom teeth present potential problems when they are misaligned (OH NO!!!!) - they can position themselves horizontally, be angled toward or away from the second molars or be angled inward or outward. Poor alignment of wisdom teeth can crowd or damage adjacent teeth, the jawbone, or nerves. Wisdom teeth that lean toward the second molars make those teeth more vulnerable to decay by entrapping plaque and debris. In addition, wisdom teeth can be entrapped completely within the soft tissue and/or the jawbone or only partially break through or erupt through the gum. Teeth that remain partially or completely entrapped within the soft tissue and /or the jawbone are termed "impacted." Wisdom teeth that only partially erupt allows for an opening for bacteria to enter around the tooth and cause an infection, which results in pain, swelling, jaw stiffness, and general illness. Partially erupted teeth are also more prone to tooth decay and gum disease because their hard-to-reach location and awkward positioning makes brushing and flossing difficult.

GEES! WTF MAN! Anyway, it still hurts la now. GAH!

SPRAINED ANKLE
(Article extracted from About.com)
A sprained ankle occurs following a sudden sideways or twisting movement of the foot. An ankle sprain can occur during athletic events or during everyday activities. All it takes is an awkward step or an uneven surface to cause an ankle sprain--that is why sprained ankles are among the most common orthopedic injuries. Orthopedic doctors see patients for ankle sprains very often, and it is the most common foot and ankle injury.

There are two broad categories of ankle sprain:

Inversion Ankle Sprains (MY category... pfft)
The most common type of ankle sprain occurs when the foot is inverted, falling inward. When this type of ankle sprain happens, the outer, or lateral, ligaments are stretched too far. There are three ligaments that attach to the outer side of the ankle. About 90% of ankle sprains are inversion injuries. Pain is always on the outside of the ankle, and there is usually no pain on the inside of the ankle joint.

Eversion Ankle Sprains
The other type of sprained ankle is called an eversion injury, where the foot is twisted outwards. When this occurs, the inner ligament, called the deltoid ligament, is stretched too far. Patients will have pain on the inner side of the ankle.

What are the symptoms of an ankle sprain?

Grade I Ankle Sprain:

Grade I ankle sprains cause stretching of the ligament. The symptoms tend to be limited to pain and swelling. Most patients can walk without crutches, but may not be able to jog or jump.

Grade II Ankle Sprain (Owh, I'm at Grade 2 sprain. Gees, I guess it's from the multiple injuries, if I didn't injured it 4 times in a row, I'm sure to be only at Grade 1. Shrugs):
A grade II ankle sprain is more severe partial tearing of the ligament. There is usually more significant swelling and bruising caused by bleeding under the skin (The blood is like blackish red wan. Yuck!). Patients usually have pain with walking, but can take a few steps.

Grade III Ankle Sprain:
Grade III ankle sprains are complete tears of the ligaments. The ankle is usually quite painful, and walking can be difficult. Patients may complain of instability, or a giving-way sensation in the ankle joint.

How to get back from an ankle sprain?

Limit Immobilization
Immobilization can cause significant problems after ankle sprains. Patients will feel better if placed in cast or a walking boot, but this can lead to a stiff ankle, delay rehab, and make their ankle prone to re-injury, if the immobilization is carried on for too long (Now you tell me...) .

Injured ankle ligaments will form scar tissue while healing. This scar tissue is tighter, and less organized when patients have their joint completely immobilized. The ligaments heal with tissue that is the appropriate length and of better quality when ankle movement is initiated earlier. When the ligaments scar excessively, normal movements can become painful, and the ankle can be prone to re-injury(Heh... too late, I had 3 times of re-injuries already) .

Alphabet writing
While seated or lying down, write the alphabet in the air with your toes. Make the letters as big as possible. Get creative by trying all uppercase, then lower case, then cursive, etc...

Toe raises (Doing this every basketball session when I don't get to play -_-)
Stand on a stair or ledge with your heel over the edge. Stand up on your tip toes, then in a controlled manner, let the heel rest down. Repeat 10-20 times (each foot), 4 times a day.

Heel and Toe Walking (Master Michael, my new Taekwondo master, made us do this, he said that it helps for my case. Guess he's right)
Walk on your toes for one minute, then on your heels for one minute. Alternate walking on your heel and toes, and work up in time to a total of 10 minutes, repeating 4 times each day.

Proprioceptive Training
Proprioception is the ability of your body to provide feedback to the brain. After an ankle sprain, the proprioception of the joint can be damaged, leading to problems controlling ankle movements (So true! I can't control the angle of my ankle when I move it).
Hmpf. Pain is not an issue now. Li Foong told me to stop exercising completely if it's painful. But, this feeling ain't pain, it's discomfort, it's like the ankle is damn tight and I keep having the feeling of wanting to crack it, make it loosen. Argh. It just doesn't feel the same again.

HAMSTRINGS ACHE
(Article extracted from sportsinjuryclinic.net)

Symptoms of a Pulled Hamstring:

  • A sudden sharp pain at the back of the leg during exercise-most probably during sprinting or high velocity movements.
  • Pain on stretching the muscle (straightening the knee whilst bending forwards).
  • Pain on contracting the muscle against resistance.
  • Swelling and bruising.
  • If the rupture is severe a gap in the muscle may be felt (Luckily not that cham) .

Severity of a Pulled Hamstring:

Grade 1: What does it feel like? (Current situation, phew)

  • May have tightness in the posterior thigh.
  • Probably able to walk normally however will be aware of some discomfort
  • Minimal swelling.
  • Lying on front and trying to bend the knee against resistance probably won't produce much pain.

Grade 2: What does it feel like? (How it was back then, luckily recovered d)

  • Gait will be affected-limp may be present .
  • May be associated with occasional sudden twinges of pain during activity.
  • May notice swelling.
  • Pressure increases pain.
  • Flexing the knee against resistance causes pain.
  • Might be unable to fully straighten the knee.

Grade 3: What does it feel like?

  • Walking severely affected- may need walking aids such as crutches
  • Severe pain- particularly during activity such as knee flexion.
  • Noticeable swelling visible immediately.
Preventing a Pulled Hamstring:
One of the most important methods of preventing a pulled hamstring is to warm up correctly- this has been scientifically proven to reduce the risk of hamstring strain.

Other factors which increase the likelihood of suffering a hamstring strain include:

Age: The older the individual the greater at risk to a pulled hamstring.
Previous Injury: Prior injuries to the hamstrings or adductor muscles can greatly increase the chance of future injury.
Flexibility: Research suggests that the greater the flexibility of the hamstrings the less prone they are to injury.
Hamstring strength: Similarly studies have shown that lack of hamstring strength is strongly linked to hamstring injury.
Lumbosacral nerve impingement (?????): Nerve impingement in L5-S1 can lead to associated hamstring muscle weakness.
Tiredness and fitness: When a player is fatigued he/she loses coordination between certain muscle groups. The biceps femoris muscle is known to become damaged due its two portions being innervated by two separate nerves. In states of tiredness, lack of synchronization between these two nerves can lead to a mismatch in firing resulting in a pulled hamstring.

Woh kay. At least mine recovers fast, but still comes back once in awhile la. Shrugs. Stupid la, how to play sports if I'm so prone to injuries... Bah, at least there are people out there whose injuries are worse than mine.

LACK OF SLEEP
(Article extracted from sleepfoundation.org)

Sleep is food for the brain. During sleep, important body functions and brain activity occur. Skipping sleep can be harmful — even deadly, particularly if you are behind the wheel. You can look bad, you may feel moody, and you perform poorly (Guilty) . Sleepiness can make it hard to get along with your family and friends and hurt your scores on school exams, on the court or on the field.

FACTS:

  • Biological sleep patterns shift toward later times for both sleeping and waking during adolescence -- meaning it is natural to not be able to fall asleep before 11:00 pm (HAH! I'm normal) .
  • Teens need about 9 1/4 hours of sleep each night to function best (for some, 8 1/2 hours is enough). (I only have 4 hours of sleep. Hahaha. Know it's nothing to be laughed about, but still... hahaha)
  • Teens tend to have irregular sleep patterns across the week — they typically stay up late and sleep in late on the weekends, which can affect their biological clocks and hurt the quality of their sleep.

CONSEQUENCES:
Not getting enough sleep or having sleep difficulties can:

  • Limit your ability to learn, listen, concentrate and solve problems. You may even forget important information like names, numbers, your homework etc (True to the fact. Gees)
  • Make you more prone to pimples (OMGAWD! I better go get enough sleep. I know la. I'm damn noob for not knowing these basic facts. Whatever whatever. Bleh)
  • Lead to aggressive or inappropriate behavior such as yelling at your friends or being impatient (Guilty) with your teachers or family members.
  • Cause you to eat too much or eat unhealthy foods like sweets and fried foods that lead to weight gain (Guilty) .
  • Heighten the effects of alcohol and possibly increase use of caffeine and nicotine (I can't take much caffeine, hahaha, kinda bad response to it, so yea.).
  • Contribute to illness (Okay, I have been sick alot... Guilty).

SOLUTIONS:

  • Make sleep a priority.
  • Establish a bed and wake-time and stick to it, coming as close as you can on the weekends. A consistent sleep schedule will help you feel less tired since it allows your body to get in sync with its natural patterns. You will find that it’s easier to fall asleep at bedtime with this type of routine (Bla...) .
  • Don’t eat, drink, or exercise within a few hours of your bedtime. Don’t leave your homework for the last minute. Try to avoid the TV, computer and telephone in the hour before you go to bed. Stick to quiet, calm activities, and you’ll fall asleep much more easily (Bla...) !

Gah.

Ugly? No. She's beautiful!

My dad was playing this video of Britains Got Talent just now. Said he saw this piece of interesting news on MSN News. I was curious, of course, I mean, my dad isn't the kind who will watch Youtube unless it's worth watching.

Well, the video was awesome, I mean, Susan Boyle is awesome. I can't embed the video here cause Youtube has disallowed embedding for this particular video. However, with more than 18 million viewers in just a few days (less than a week, I think?), it proves that it's worth watching. Heck, she even has her own fansite and is listed in Wikipedia too! Uh, I'm an often reader of Wikipedia, know it's not entirely true, but the articles are interesting la.

Here's the link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lp0IWv8QZY

Awesome, no?

[Edit 11:47pm, 19th April]
Increased again!!!!!!!! To more than 30 million views!!!!! Gosh! GO SUSAN BOYLE!

[Edit 2:54ppm, 18th April]
Approximately 15 to 16 hours after the last edit, the hit has increased to more than 24 million views! PRO!

[Edit 10:12pm, same day]
Was only less than an hour since I post this entry, and guess what?

The viewers count of that video has increased by another million! Now it's over 19 millions views for Susan Boyle's extraordinary performance!

And did you noticed those people who were making those faces before Susan starts singing? Gees. Don't judge a book by its cover mannn. Our world has really became nasty, is looks that important?

Author: some guy call Jeff

When trying to maintain the illusion that personality matters, some people bring ugly people with them. Some times these ugly people don't even have good personalities. They should die. And seeing as personalities don't matter, regular ugly people should die too. But it's unfortunate that they don't, so a law should be passed so ugly people cannot spawn little ugly children. If obesity is a disease, then so is ugly. AIDS is a disease too, and how do they cure that? Abstinence. Why abstinence? So diseased people won't have diseased kids. So my dear ugly people, stop the spread of ugly! It's probably contagious too, so stay away from me.

They should kill themselves, or kill themselves.

If you disagree, then you are probably ugly.
Yes, I disagree. And I probably am ugly, seeing that I'm not entirely that good looking neither. Whatever la, I still disagree.

Okay la. I'm probably not straight if I said that the above author himself ain't cute. I mean, he is la. But that's really mean. I mean, everyone deserves to live, unless they are bad and evil. See, personalities count in the question of whether an individual deserves to live or not, not looks.

And true to the point that people link ugly and bad personality together, it can't be help. But, if you see it in a psychological point of view, people who are ugly in appearance will be treated badly if compared to good looking people. And being treated badly will damage their confidence and pride and whatever la, they will feel damn unwanted, disappointed, blablabla, which will lead them to do negative things. Thus, people actually make this link between ugly and bad up.

However, not everyone is like that. There are some pure hearted people, who unfortunately do not get good looks and did not choose to go under the knife to change their appearance (which is a good thing, in MY opinion la. Your opinion different then keep it to yourself). So, this whole thing is uh, quite arguable that not every ugly people is bad. BLA! Back to square one. I suck at applying CTS in real life la!!!!

Anyway, this is in general, okay? I know a few people who do not treat people according to their looks, but they still appreciate good looks la, still, I personally think that it's all about the inside. So what if that guy has a hot bod, nice features but a lousy attitude and empty brain. Bla, he can't even carry a proper conversation with me (uh... this is actually based on someone I know, kinda mean, but at least I'm saying he's good looking ma).

It wasn't singer Susan Boyle who was ugly on Britain's Got Talent so much as our reaction to her
Article Taken from: http://www.guardian.co.uk/

Author: Tanya Gold

Is Susan Boyle ugly? Or are we? On Saturday night she stood on the stage in Britain's Got Talent; small and rather chubby, with a squashed face, unruly teeth and unkempt hair. She wore a gold lace dress, which made her look like a piece of pork sitting on a doily. Interviewed by Ant and Dec beforehand, she told them that she is unemployed, single, lives with a cat called Pebbles and has never been kissed. Susan then walked out to chatter, giggling, and a long and unpleasant wolf whistle.

Why are we so shocked when "ugly" women can do things, rather than sitting at home weeping and wishing they were somebody else? Men are allowed to be ugly and talented. Alan Sugar looks like a burst bag of flour. Gordon Ramsay has a dried-up riverbed for a face. Justin Lee Collins looks like Cousin It from The Addams Family. Graham Norton is a baboon in mascara. I could go on. But a woman has to have the bright, empty beauty of a toy - or get off the screen. We don't want to look at you. Except on the news, where you can weep because some awful personal tragedy has befallen you.

Simon Cowell, now buffed to the sheen of an ornamental pebble, asked this strange creature, this alien, how old she was. "I'm nearly 47," she said. Simon rolled his eyes until they threatened to roll out of his head, down the aisle and out into street. "But that's only one side of me," Susan added, and wiggled her hips. The camera cut to the other male judge, Piers Morgan, who winced. Didn't Susan know she was not supposed to be sexual? The audience's reaction was equally disgusting. They giggled with embarrassment, and when Susan said she wanted to be a professional singer, the camera spun to a young girl, who seemed to be at least half mascara.

She gave an "As if!" squeak and smirked. Amanda Holden, the female judge, a woman with improbably raised eyebrows and snail trails of Botox over her perfectly smooth face, chose neutrality. And then Susan sang. She stood with her feet apart, like a Scottish Edith Piaf, and very slowly began to sing Les Miserables' I Dreamed A Dream. It was wonderful.

The judges were astonished. They gasped, they gaped, they clapped. They looked almost ashamed. I was briefly worried that Simon might stab himself with a pencil, and mutter, "Et tu, Piers, for we have wronged Susan in thinking that because she is a munter, she is entirely useless." How could they have misjudged her, they gesticulated. But how could they not? No makeup? Bad teeth? Funny hair? Is she insane, this sad little Scottish spinster, beloved only of Pebbles the Cat?

When Susan had finished singing, and Piers had finished gasping, he said this. It was a comment of incredible spite. "When you stood there with that cheeky grin and said, 'I want to be like Elaine Paige', everyone was laughing at you. No one is laughing now." And it was over to Amanda Holden, a woman most notable for playing a psychotic hairdresser in the Manchester hair-extensions saga Cutting It. "I am so thrilled," said Amanda, "because I know that everybody was against you." "Everybody was against you," she said, as if Susan might have been hanged for her presumption. Why? Can't "ugly" people dream, you flat-packed, hair-ironed, over-plucked monstrous fool?

I know what you will say. You will say that Paul Potts, the fat opera singer with the equally squashed face who won Britain's Got Talent in 2007, had just as hard a time at his first audition. I looked it up on YouTube. He did not. "I wasn't expecting that," said Simon to Paul. "Neither was I," said Amanda. "You have an incredible voice," said Piers. And that was it. No laughter, or invitations to paranoia, or mocking wolf-whistles, or smirking, or derision.

We see this all the time in popular culture. Do you ever stare at the TV and wonder where the next generation of Judi Denchs and Juliet Stevensons have gone? Have they fallen down a Rada wormhole? Yes. They're not there, because they aren't pretty enough to get airtime. This lust for homogeneity in female beauty means that when someone who doesn't resemble a diagram in a plastic surgeon's office steps up to the microphone, people fall about and treat us to despicable sub-John Gielgud gestures of amazement.

Susan will probably win Britain's Got Talent. She will be the little munter that could sing, served up for the British public every Saturday night. Look! It's "ugly"! It sings! And I know that we think that this will make us better people. But Susan Boyle will be the freakish exception that makes the rule. By raising this Susan up, we will forgive ourselves for grinding every other Susan into the dust. It will be a very partial and poisoned redemption. Because Britain's Got Malice. Sing, Susan, sing - to an ugly crowd that doesn't deserve you.

Damn! Tanya is damn good a writer. Anyway, that's beside the point. Susan was tough la, she stood strong even when the audience were rolling their eyes at her remarks, she gave the best show to prove them wrong. I, too, did not expect her to have such wonderful voice. She's optimistic and did not falter when the audience snorted and sniggered unencouragingly at her. On that stage, when she starts to sing, everyone were just stunned. She even got Simon Cowell's mouth shut. Hah!

She's awesome. Really.

Sorrow

Damn. I forgot how hard I cried everytime after watching Absolute Boyfriend.

My heart felt so heavy la. Weeps.

I'm not ready for sincerity

Gah. Legs are hurting me. Pfft. Wonder if it was a bad choice after all for choosing Orange Run over Easter celebration at ACTS.

Bla.

Anyway, just came back from cc, finished releasing anger through L4D and CS. Thanks la guys for making me stone while you all decide to play dota instead after that. Oh well, at least I got belanja-ed anyway. HAHAHA! So, no complaints. And yeap, went there to release anger. Was kinda pissed lar, dunno why for what reasons, just am not so tolerant than usual. Got ffk-ed and not being informed by a few people within those few hours made me damn fucking pissed. Argh.

Oh, so, Orange Run was okay lar. My breathing was still fine, can continue running, but my legs are like super lazy to move and the ankle feels damn weird and my hamstrings are damn tight. I think after 5km, my legs started to hurt already. Stopped jogging and start walking, okay, not walking, more like dragging my feet.

But, oh well, I managed to finish 11km. Yay. Longest distance I have completed in a race so far. And I'm still alive! Woot. And no, I did not win anything, as expected la. This shall be the beginning of my participation in races again. I remember promising myself that before I set foot to go climb Mt. Kinabalu, I will have to win at least 10 medals in these runs first (exclude races from school and college), so far I only managed to get 3 or 4 medals, I can't remember, okay la. Take it as 3 only lar, out of uh... 5 races. Pfft. 7 more to go. Shall try my best this year!

And to think I almost gave up that promise to myself by considering quitting all sports. If it wasn't for Kevin who managed to persuade me. And Gene Harn called yesterday night, was a surprised to hear his voice on the other end. Am quite glad that he called, long time didn't hear from him, though we always quarrel when we see each other, I guess the friendship still remains lar. He asked if I'm going to join this year's KL Marathon... Bla. RM40 wei. Damn expensive. But so tempting, I so wanna join. Argh. Deadline is this coming Saturday la. Howwwww?

Owh. Anyway, back to Orange Run. Was there alone throughout the whole thing, saw a few friends la. Made a friend during the run though, Ivy from Monash. Were like chatting and encouraging each other to go. Haha. If fate allows, I guess I will see her in the next race too.

Yinnie said that she will probably be going to the Curve after the run, and we made plans summore d. Pfft. Potong. Didn't work out la in the end. Went home in quite a foul mood. Jun messaged (FINALLY!) to ask to go gaming. Well, good timing, just what I need to release anger. However, I was so tired from the run and being angry, I kinda fell asleep during L4D campaign. What the hell...

-_-

Oh oh. I'm into basketball jersey pants once again, dunno why la. Actually, I'm always into them, damn sensitive to whoever who is wearing one. Haha. Friends have asked me to dress more feminine, Alric told me to stop wearing boardshorts, baggy tees and jersey pants. I did tried to follow their advises. But what the hell. I think I shall just dress according to my mood now. Sucks to be a girl you know, have to dress nicely to impress. Pfft. I know la, Li Foong has a point too, I shall dress properly once in a while la. Somehow, I just think that guys have nicer fashion than us girls =l

Wan Ee got a new pair of jersey cause she joined MSSD for her school, seeing that she's in Form 6. Hmpf. And it's GREEN! So cool! I also want! *Pouts*

=(

HAHAHA! SO CUTE! OMG!

I sound like a spoilt brat la. But I wanttttt. So far only got a dark blue pair, white with dark blue shades and white and red shades. I always wanted a pair of black ones. Oh, and red also. xD Green is cool too, very striking. Owh, I want grey also, the guys team wore that colour in my year, I like! Light blue also nice! Gees.

Later have to start doing my Accounting assignment and complete my PTPTN documents which are needed to be handed in tomorrow, I really hope I manage to get the loan. Hmmm, tomorrow the Main Block will be darn empty then, even if there are the Foundation kids there, I probably can't hang out with them much la, seeing they have exams, can't disturb them la. Sigh. I miss him :(

Wanted to go out to the court, but it keeps raining like it never rain before. Argh. Luckily it didn't rain in the morning during the race la. Thank God. Gah. Wanna go lok lok at pasar malam later with Ben, but he's working. Pfft. Haih. The sausages he does are damn nice, I don't know his timing la, but the ones I do are always either uncooked or overcooked. Shrugs.

Shall go continue watch "Absolute Boyfriend". Yeap, again. It's nice la. Watching it for the 3rd time already. Nyeh.

All Hail the Heartbreaker

Not meant to be, I guess?

Bitter?

Sigh. So bored, really wanted to go watch that movie lar. But Yin Yee is broke, cannot go out d. Not in great terms with Alric and Adrian. Victor had an hungover, or so he said. Foundation peeps are having exams. And some people are just too busy with their life, well, I do know you have your own life, if you don't want include me in it, that's fine with me. I didn't say that the world revolves around me and that I didn't know you too, have your own life. I do know. I just wanted someone to accompany me, that's all. I can go alone if I want to, but I want company okay. Shrugs.

You yourself mentioned that eating alone damn kelian, and you rather not eat than eating alone. Now, you're giving me this suggestion that contradicts to what you said last time. I'm fine being alone.

I usually am anyway.

---------------------
Stumbled across this site where they are describing the type of friends you can find around you. Hmmmmm...

I know I may not be a perfect friend, trying not to be a toxic one too. But, I do want friends who I can depend on. I had a conversation with me dad about friends, and I guess my dad is right. In different situation, you will have different friends with you. If there's one person who will always be with you in every situation, that person will probably be your best friend, or your soul mate.

Come to think of it, it's true that I have different friends for every different activity. Different people as friends for my degree classes, student council, yum char, basketball, taekwondo, online rantings, shopping, camps, work, races...

It's difficult to be close to everyone. Wait. It's not difficult, it's just impossible. Not everyone will be compatible with you. It's the process of finding the right friend for you that is difficult.

Time to count my blessings, I'm kinda lucky to have friends who are always there for me to rant out and giving me encouragements and advices. Also, the lectures when I need them. I wanted to list the names out, but there are also people who happened to be occasional friends who are equally important to me.

I know this is like damn, uh, I don't know what you call this la. But, I think, having Wan Ee as a friend made me really take friends importantly. And being betrayed before years ago and being put down many times by some people whom even my closer friends don't approve of, I really hope to find people who are true and acknowledge the bond. I admit la, I am not one to be really really close to, I'm the kind of person who will get tired if I hang out with one same person too much. Then, if I feel suffocated, I will just jump out and give both of us space to breathe. Or maybe it's just to avoid getting too attached, you know what they said la, the closer you are to someone, when you get hurt, it's more painful.

I don't think it's good. I always admire others who have a certain best friend and each acts as the other's shadow. Shrugs. I don't think I will ever get one, seeing that I personally don't believe in best friends. After that betrayal, I realised "best friend" is just a term. Something superficial. It's like a comparison between your friends.

Everyone has their own opinion about friends, some may not put plenty of thoughts towards this subject. I'm just voicing mine out. I have talked about this to some peeps too, some are understanding, some agreed with it, some just has to make me reject my own opinion and accept theirs.

Here I have something that's kinda doubtful lo. I mean,
You have good friends, but you don't call certain people as better friends right? But somehow, you still label one or many people as best friends. Wait. Best. Isn't it equals to only one? I mean, that's what you learn in English when you are in primary school right? How can the word "best" be shared among so many people? Okay la. That's what my thought is towards people who claim to have many best friends. I'm cool with it, not being judgemental, it's just my opinion, no offense to any.

Bla. Just ranting nia now. I think it's my needy season d. And it so happened that no one is available for me now. Shrugs. Making me feel unimportant. Perhaps I am anyway. Pfft. No worries, it won't last. As usual. Just for a week or two I think.

----------------------

Shall go entertain myself. No one wanna layan ma layan diri la. Doh. Think I will die without you is it.

And there's no 5 good things today. People are asking about the 5th reason and why was I being secretive. Well, that 5th thing didn't happen today. Shrugs. Malas layan me also la him. Pfft.

Orange Run tomorrow. I got FFK by alot of people, Jack, Alric, Adrian and Janson. Shrugs. What's wrong with all my friends laaaa. Okay la, fine. Alric and Janson got exams so it's okay. Kevin got a tournament after that. Adrian I think got Easter celebration la. Aiyooo. What the hell la.

Fine. Shall just go run alone. I mean, I always run alone anyway. Doesn't make any difference.

Okay la. I sound damn bitter now. Feeling so unwanted la. Kinda depressed also la. Bad day la I guess. Been stuffing myself with the whole loaf of High 5 bread. THE WHOLE FREAKING LOAF! With butter la doh. I can't eat it plain la. Zzzzzz. How fattening, the carbs and fats. Gees!

I don't feel like going to the park now d. Dad said to go have Western Food for dinner for tonight. So I shall go for dinner and fatten myself instead. I mean, Kian Siong told me to eat till bao bao and don't run the day before the race anyway. So I am just following what he instructed.

Or shall I not go for the run and go for Easter Event instead with Vic and Jess?

Wait. I call Jess and Vic now.

.
.
.

Okay. Back. Doesn't help much la. They asked me to go la cause it will be fun. But how about the run. ARGH! Opportunity cost.

ORANGE RUN
The good.
- It's free!
- I doubt that I can win la. Stamina ain't as good as last time. But chances are?
- EXERCISE WAT! Healthy lor!
- I registered d anyway.

And the bad.
- It's damn fucking early! Need to wake up at 7am!
- My hamstrings damn painful and my ankle le. Should I risk it?
- I will be alone in that event anyway.
- Can't go for Easter.

EASTER EVENT
The good.
- It's free too...
- It will be fun!
- Get to be with friends.
- FOOOD!
- I like the church services. Always have plenty to learn.

And the bad?
- Can't go for run.
- It's freaking early also. Need to wake up 7am also anyway.
- Something la. Issues.

Argh. DUNNO LA! I shall go ask Teck Chai!

.
.
.

Okay! He suggested me to flip a coin. Tails, I go for run. Heads, I go for Easter.

.
.
.

Seems like I got myself the tails. Orange Run it is then. Bla. Gees. I always use luck when I'm in the midst of 2 decisions. Scissors Paper Stone, Coin flipping... Reminds me of Two-Face from The Dark Knight. Haha.

While I'm at it, shall put this up too. Check this out! Hilarious.

Seeing that I have trained for the past week for this event anyway, I will take the risk and shall just go for it then tomorrow. Thanks again la Teck Chai. Sad for you to not being able to go =/

Hope I will be able to see some familiar faces tomorrow. Damn long didn't join these runs, can't really remember how those active runners look like d. Can't even remember the names of some whom I made friends with last time from all the runs. Bla.

Owh well. Good luck to me. Kinda got out from my bad mood d. I forgot how funny Teck Chai can be. Gees. Damn long didn't talk to him. Hope I meet people there la then, don't need to waste my time asking peeps who can't or doesn't want to go hang out after that. We all always need back up plans man. Ciao. Yummy dinner, here I come!

PSS/THANKS AARON FOR TRAINING ME THAT DAY! HOPE IT WORKS!
PSSS/ THANKS LI FOONG FOR WISHING ME LUCK!

PSSSS/ Yinnie! PASAR MALAM TOMORROW KAY?

PSSSSS/ WHO WANNA WATCH 'HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU' WITH ME??????? SO RELEVANT LA THE MOVIE TO ME. Or maybe it's just the title la. but, WHO CARES? If can, watch tomorrow la... Please please. T_T I wanna watchhhh. And I want caramel popcorns...

Shall treat myself with McD's sundae with chocotop tomorrow after the run. Whee!

Uber exhausted

I think my stamina is getting unbelievably lousier already.

Yeah, I just woke up, and it's 2am now. Normally I will be falling asleep by this time, or still being awake and stone. Tonight was abit different though, not like I have not done this before la, but it's like one of the weird sleeping patterns struck again tonight.

Fell asleep around 8.30pm and woke up cause I remember someone was knocking the door and I kinda sleepwalked to answer it and then kinda mumbled some stuffs and closed the door again and sat in front of my laptop to reply a few messages on msn. Then, I stoned. And fell asleep in front of my laptop.

Owh. And my laptop is unexpectedly quiet. No noise at all. Not like the usual grrrrheeeeezzzzzzzgrrrrrrrrheehawzzzheehawzzz... Ask Li Foong, she will know what I meant. Haha. And well, I guess it's good news. Blah.

Anyway, yeap. I woke up once again now, 2am, and tried replying all the messages on msn, just to find all of those peeps have already went offline. Pfft. Whoops?

And since I'm kinda awake right now, I will just blog too.

Owh kay. Good Friday was good. Haha. Geddit? Good Friday was Good. Okay okay. Forget it.

Had a long day la, really. That's why I'm so tired out. Woke up early and slept in college for awhile, the arguments I had the night before didn't help lifting my mood, worsen the morning only. Only Louis and Li Foong asked if something's wrong, nice friends I have =)

Went for breakfast with Li Foong, it lifted my mood abit. Then, started towards Wisma for Taekwondo; Li Foong has classes though.

Was kinda early for Taekwondo but Qinmei was there already lar, there's another guy who apparently has not attending trainings for a long time already and just suddenly decided to come today. Think that his name is Ting. Haha. Sounds like a girl's. Cough cough. Ahem. Anyway, he and another friend of his, dunno the name, plays basketball too as well. And they are the kind who are super passionate in it wan. Yay! My friends! HAHA!

Apparently, it seems that this Master kinda favours those who plays basketball -_-" He keeps saying he likes our reflexes and speed. Well, of course abit of reflexes la, all the ball douching that we got used to. I mean, it just comes naturally after you got hit by the ball for 90834012392401 times right? Eventually you will get more sensitive to objects which come flying your way.

Anyway, I think I lack of strength la. Need to train on that. I think so far, Louis is one good person to look out for to train that.

Gah. Training was lousy today. Couldn't go all out. My hamstrings are hurting. All the running everyday after the last training was mad. I think I shall not run tomorrow too, so that I won't get too exhausted for the run on Sunday. YEAP! It's this Sunday! Woot. 7am. Hohoho. Hope I'm ready for it, wanna at least win something. Bla.

Not to expect much though, after I kinda retired before this already, the lack of exercise has made me abit useless in terms of what you need in sports, agility, stamina, strength, disciplince, everything. I'm just this one lousy trash already. Pfft. Gotta go train again.

Thanks to Kevin la actually, he motivated me into joining running and Taekwondo again. Basketball just follows suit later on, cause if I run, I will also then play ball. And when I got sucky in it, I want to train myself again. And that's how I kinda returned to sporting life now. Not entirely yet, but still in the process lar. Lets just hope my ankle doesn't injured again and I probably will stay put in all these trainings for the months to come.

=/

Anyway, damn sucky lar. Couldn't kick at all. Couldn't even stand straight. I suck la. My hamstrings suck la. Pfft. After training, went for a quick bite and got changed out of my sports attire for the DESCO interview. Got to know another candidate, name is Farah, very friendly and quite pretty, I thought she's local, but apparently, she's from Pakistan. Whoops. She's running for Sports Coordinator though. I'm running for Secretary, in my opinion, it went okay only lar. Wasn't that well prepared cause I was rushing all the way for today's schedule. But, it was okay lar. Hope I got finalised and be eligible to campaign.

Rushed to attend the CF's Good Friday event, Life Pieces. Was abit late lar, but I promised Jenn Ming =/

Well, the whole event was great though. Worth my time and energy. The drama was extremely funny, Aaron Choi is damn cute in the act. Made me laugh. Haha. Uncle Allen was great, he's a ventriloquist, damn pro. Enjoyed his talk. The video clip he prepared made me tear unconciously though, I wasn't the only one la I'm sure. Nat said she was trying not to tear the whole while.

They have door gifts too! Cupcakes! Yummyyyy! I stole the last one, but was kinda full after all the sandwiches, nachos and nuggets they provided. So, being the nice me, I offered it to Louis when I saw him in the corridor. Gees, I'm so nice, dunno why lar. Haha.

Nat wanted to donate blood cause there happened to be a blood donation drive at the lower foyer. So we waited for her with Jia Huey busy snapping pictures of the needles and the bag of blood. OMG! *Faints*

I wanted to donate tooooooo... It's not peer pressure lar. But, I really wanna donate lor. Just that I keep feeling faint when I saw those people getting poked by the needles. Gawd. And the blood... *feels weak* omg...omg...omgmgmgmgmgmg...

After Nat donated her blood and collected her stuffs, some drama happened. Gees. Well, I'm not in a position to talk about it anyway, but I felt sorry and pissed for her too. To think that she will be having exams the next day.

Owh owh, speaking of exams,

GOOD LUCK AGAIN FOR TOMORROW'S STATS AND MSIAN STUDIES PAPERS!

Haha. Haih. Everyone's busy. I wanna watch "He's just not that into you" tomorrow!! But Yinnie suddenly pulled out cause she's broke. Argh. Need to find someone else, but Victor was drunk and I don't think he will be up tomorrow until the evening... Pfft. And the Foundation kids are all having exams. Who else??????

Yen they all will be busy playing basketball in the morning tomorrow! YESH! Shall ask them to teman me, heehehe... Oh, wait. They won't wanna go shopping with me also wan. Yohhhh. They probably just ditch me there. Aiyohhhhh. Sad lar. Wan Ee will be too tired after all the trainings she went through and since that MSSD just ended today, dunno if she suddenly got lucky and got to go for MSSS or not (HAHA! JOKING), but shall ask her bout the tournament tomorrow.

Anyway, the 5 good things for the day are:
  1. Taekwondo training was still fun despite the pain.
  2. The interview went okay.
  3. The Good Friday event was a good job. I enjoyed the event.
  4. Made new friends!!!!!!! xD
  5. =) Something lar... Feeling loved makes me happy.

Gosh. My head is nodding again. I better go sleep again. Eyelids are like dropping down. Zzzzzz.

YAWN

Was quite unproductive so far for today man. Accounts class was a bore. Wasted time talking about horror movies, not like I have plenty to talk about though, was just telling stories about the Ghostbusters cartoon. Hahaha. Loserrrr lar me.

Need to at least start on the Accounting assignment before I go to bed tonight. And need to prepare for tomorrow's Student Council interview. Wish me luck.

------------------
After a very long time of slacking, I kinda lost Jack and Kevin as my jogging partners. Janson stayed too far to be my jogging partner, and Alric just keeps wasting my breath by making me laugh -_-"

So, now, other than Yinnie, I think I just found myself a new jogging partner.

(3:06 PM) ∞ζά∂яФŋ čђәäҸζ∞ (F):
yea. msg me when u wan to go jogging lar. i join u. but u have to follow my pace all the way. cannot give up.

(Crazy, follow your pace)

Gees. Thanks alot, Aaron. If I faint mid-way, I will somehow make sure you drag me home. Can just go to the pharmacy near Ming Tien and buy a wheelchair, few hundred bucks only what.

By the way, GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE FOUNDATION STUDENTS WHO WILL BE SITTING FOR THEIR FINALS SOON!

Sem 3 students faster graduate and join me in Wisma laaaaaa xD

-------------------------
[Edit @ 8:57PM]

*&(@#%(@#&)(&)(!&(*@!^

Aaron is mad. I almost died!

I doubt he can tahan my slow pace compared to his d la. Oh M Gee laaa. Crazy fella. So pro.

Long day tomorrow! Taekwondo, then interview, then CF's Easter event, then go get a brand new China brand mp3 for running practices, then running and basketball. Hee hee.

5 good things that happened today:

  1. I was unexpectedly accurate in shooting today, continuously few nice shots. This is rare mannn, must be a good day for basketball. But, no one wanted to play game today also. Bla.
  2. Got meself a new clincher for only RM21 leeee.
  3. Jogged 8 rounds in total, plenty of breaks in between though. And the last few rounds I went damnnnnnnnnnnnnn sloooooooooow. Aaron said the distance is 440m per round. Shit le, so short wan meh the distance. Google map said it's 480m ok. Pfft... I managed 11 rounds with only 1 break 2 days ago. Did 7 rounds continuously yesterday and 8 rounds with 2 breaks in between... I'm getting lousier la. But still managed to went for a jog.
  4. Don't exactly had class today. Bla.
  5. =) Something la... ask and I might consider telling...

Find the reason, you and I, for our existance

I'm kinda in a blogging mojo now...

Today Ms. Anne Marie has yet again inspired me with something...

On the first day in uni, my lecturer said that he shall treat us all like adults, that we are already big now. Yes, true, time flies so fast, it's already the month of April and I'm still thinking it's still the beginning of 2009. We grew, we are now big, but yet smaller than small. In some situations, we are like, nothing at all. So helpless, confused, pessimistic.

For the past few days, I have tried to focus on getting 5 good things to happen in my everyday. If I couldn't get them, I tried to look into little things that actually made me smile. Worse comes to worst, I go for ice cream... it's a confirmed way to makes me feel fuzzy in the inside and happy. Anyway, getting to acknowledge 5 good things in a day is actually, surprisingly easy. Well, I mean, perhaps I never realised myself being happy at those little things the last time. Anyway, it's only a week, but I realised there are things that priors even more than relationships and the need to fit in.

So what if I can't get the guy I like? Being with my friends make me happy, and John Khor is right anyway, I'm the kind who will suffocate when being together with a person for too long a period. If I'm in a relationship, maybe the first few months will be cool, but after that I will need damn alot of space. Need time to find someone like that. And I'm proud of myself for not jumping into any relationships with people I don't have feelings for, might have hurt them, but I don't regret it. By the way, Alric, I don't agree with your theory, it's stupid.

So what if I still couldn't fit in? I guess I'm used to wanting to be friends with everyone, though I know I'm no Debra or Victoria. But, I guess the reason I stayed on in UEL is to challenge myself in adapting to this change. I never regret in my choices. I will not let myself regret for choosing UEL. I know I will somehow fit in, one day. Just like the days in HMC when I so miss DJ and hate HMC for it. Haha. Makes me laugh thinking about it. Who knew HMC would be the best thing in my life...

Life is just full of surprises and we all live for a reason. Just because you don't know what is the reason for your existance doesn't mean you don't have one. God just wants you to find it yourself, or maybe create one yourself. We only have one life, and it's too short a life for regrets and wrong decisions. We are only young once too, take advantage of it and live life to the fullest. Simple things that make you happy counts, as long as you are happy, the life you are living in is worth it.

What Ms. Anne said is worth thinking about. She's damn inspirational and indirectly influencial la. Damn respect her. I like her attitude too, she's like the kind of person that will be successful in life. Really salute her. Once I finish dealing with all the assignments, I will try to get her something.

Well, 5 good things that happened today?

  1. Had Nasi Lemak for breakfast! Yummmmm! With Foong jie and Louis. Louis is quite funny in a way la. Even when he's just stoning. HAHAHA! Okay. Damn mean.
  2. I felt damn loved today. Every bite of my dinner I felt warmth. Though it's damn big portion la, I forced myself to stuff down the whole thing. Me love my parents la. But I guess my family is like, don't know how to express their love and gratitude. I guess sometimes one has to look beyond little things and appreciate them, only then you will realised those are little acts of love too.
  3. I shall forgive those I'm pissed off at to give myself peace. HAHA!
  4. This stupid joke. My friend was like didn't know what MS Word's double spacing is. His assumption was like, "This *space space* is *space space* an *space space* apple." HAHAHAHHAHA! Geddit? It's so funny la. Ms Anne Marie was laughing so hard about this. "This is an apple"
  5. =) Secret. Ask me and I will consider telling you or not.

Negativity takes over so easily...

=/

Wanted to blog yesterday, but kinda doze off in front of the laptop again... Have to get rid of that habit la. Shrugs.

Was having kinda good a day yesterday, submitted my assignment, 1st one to submit summore. Kekeke. Got to hang out with friends. No classes. It's like nothing could go wrong. And fate was being nice to me yesterday...

I met this primary school standard 4 classmate on the way back home on the train. Dammit. Why he became so good looking d wan? What's wrong with me? Pfft. Everyone's having better looks whist growing up, except me. Pfft.

Met my Form 3 sejarah teacher, Pn Chelva when I'm on my way home too, while I'm walking pass the shoplots at Taman Sea. Haha. Had fun talking to her. And met my stupid cousin whom yelled so damn loud, what the hell. Did I look so different? Cannot recognise me at all meh? Dumb ass. And come to think of it, he talks damn loud lor, loudest among his friends, intro also damn loud. Bla.

Oh oh. And this little kid, approx 2 year old, was like smiling and waving at me from the inside of this furniture shop. So freaking cuteeee! I was like waving back at her and then she did a flying kiss. Hahaha. Lit up my day even more.

Then, while I almost reach home, this other kid, around 2 years old too, was cycling in front of his house and then he stopped and wave at me, calling me "jie jie". What the heck. What's with the kids today? Sooooo friendly and adorable! Fate is treating me very nicely today.

And guess what? While I'm all smiley and thinking my life is awesome and you know la, being all positive. One single negative thing can make things all seems blah. I won't say it here, only will tell certain people. Alric, forget it, focus on your ahem, I malas tell you my problems.

And very funny Alric, I know la, you damn fit la right. Wait. "fit" la right? Call me Little Miss Big. I show you la. Wait and see. I will train to be even faster and stronger. Seeing that I'm already faster than you. Fatso. Hmpf. Don't want eat your cooking d. Later kena poisoning.

Shrugs. Daddy is coming in 20 minutes time. Time goes damn slow la. It's not raining today. Gonna go jog at least 4km today and train the 360 degree kick. Need to polish it up before Friday if not sure kena by master. It's a good thing I met Kevin in trekathon, he's been motivating me to go back into sports. Now I just need some motivation to go back to basketball, even though my mum ain't happy about me playing basketball, but I guess I still am passionate in it. Just am too lazy to start exercising after slacking for damn long.

Blame injuries la. Haha. *excuses*

OH! MY DAD IS HERE! YAY! Will try to be even more enthusiastic in sports like how i used to again!

Spoil my mood, will you?

Pfft. Stupid Adrian. I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU FOREVER! Look down on me la. I know you damn grand la. Whatever la! At least I'm taller than you la!

GO AWAY! Bugger. What a friend. Hmpf.

Gees. Thanks to him, I'm now fattening myself with a pint of chocolate chip ice cream. Argh. Bought in on 31st, was thinking of keeping it till Sunday night for watching Slumdog with my sister (DVD! Missed the movie).

Shrugs.

And no mood to do assignment d la. Due on Monday some more and I haven't even started typing. Stupid Adrian. Pfft. Useless friend.

Anyway, enough of him. Not worth it. 5 good things which happened today?

  1. Rejoined Taekwondo. First lesson. Had fun. Master Michael said I have the speed and I should start Taekwondo again. Damn. After 2 years of no sports, my stamina damn sucky la. Muscles also harden d. Not flexible at all. Pfft. I should start training again.
  2. Made new friends. Haha. i enjoy making new friends la. Makes me happy. Jamie and Esther (KEVIN'S SISTER! OMG) from Taekwondo. And Ken and Shao Yong from UOL, Li Foong, Misel and Wei Yang's classmates. Funny bunch.
  3. Managed to start on my assignment until that stupid Adrian came and disrupt my train of thoughts.
  4. Had ice cream for dessert after lunch and dinner!!!! Yayyyyy~ Me love ice cream! ^^
  5. Had Subway for lunch. Yummster! Glee.

^^ I'm happy again. Forget about that guy. Pfft. No use wan. Hmpf. Adrian, SAW THE FIRST THING THAT MADE ME HAPPY? LOOK DOWN LA! YOU ARE JUST JEALOUS! HMPF! Look down on Taekwondo, not like you created any other martial arts which is better also. *rolls eyes*

To others (Not inclusive of Adrian), I know I damn bitchy and annoying la. But I memang am when that person fucking pissed me off.

I hope I am bitchy and annoying enough to you, Adrian. Hmpf!

Woe is me?

Nah. I'm in a pretty good mood today. Been skipping around college =)

5 good things on April 2, 2009:

  1. Got to know a new friend, Pik Zhuan, local, very pretty, very smart.
  2. Get to have ice cream for dessert xD and my parents did not even scold me for eating ice cream when I have cough.
  3. Am actually listening in Accounting class and understand the lesson.
  4. Had a good time chatting with Andy on the way home, plenty of catching up.
  5. What the heck. They actually charged RM12 for alteration, gg wtf knn. Luckily I went back to cancel the alteration cause it's so not worth it. To think I'm already so broke, I can like buy a new shirt with that money. Anyway, the good thing is my grandma said she's able to help me alter it... for FREE! Yayyy~ Glee!

Gees. Now to read back these things that make me happy. I realised I'm actually quite easy to please... and quite easy to be pissed. Bla.

Taekwondo tomorrow. Food review for the students' website project tomorrow. Oh. By the way, I managed to get myself nominated for Secretary for DESCO (Department of Economics Student COuncil). Got a competitor though so far. Pfft. I want that post. Also got nominated for president for DESCO... WTFKNNOMGBANGSHEAD!!!!!! Not gonna run for it anyway. President is too much la what the hell. Anyway, I'm keeping this a secret from my parents, as in about joining student council again... but it won't be a secret anymore if they read this. Yes, apparently my parents check my blog out sometimes...

Owh well. Woe is not me! For now. Better start on my assignment. Have to finish by today! GOOOOOO! AJA AJA FIGHTING! *Gees, too much Korean dramas*

5 good things

Ms. Anne Marie told us that if we actually acknowledge and appreciate at least 5 good things that happened to you everyday, you will be more positive at least within 21 days. She said that she has tried this on a sample of students years back.

So I have decided to include 5 good things that happened everyday in each entry, just to try this out. Become guinea pig mannn, how nice I am.

Oh. Fast & Furious 4's awesome, cause I like how Fenix died (is that how you spell the name? Whatever la), the subtitles' awesome too. HAHA! Pantas & Ganas 4. HAHAHHAHA! Good start man. Bla. I slept in the midst of cars-chasing scene though. Zzzzzzzz. Long day ogeh? Freaking exhausted. And the seats are so comfyyyy -_-"

Reviews will be done by some other people. I'm not good at writing reviews. Bla. Go google "Fast & Furious 4 reviews", it works. Lalala~

Saw a few peeps there. Was quite late in collecting the tickets cause Yinnie and I were wasting our time in this forgot what's the store's name, trying on clothes. Ended up sitting damn in front. YINNIEEEEEE, Me want those clothes laaaaaaaaa T_________T HOW HOW HOW? I promised not to shop until the end of November, how nowwww?

Oh. I digress.

Me want watch Night in the Museum 2!!!!!!!!!

Had McD's banana pies after movie for supper. Yummmm~
